How to get healthy fingernails after removing acrylic fake nails can be a nightmare for most of us because it is time-consuming to repair damaged fingernails!!! Acrylic nails are pretty to have, but that prettiness comes with a price of having thin, weak, splitting, and brittle nails after the acrylic nails are removed. I have treated my nails back to health so many times only to get acrylic nails over and over again to repeat the process.

100% Pure Acetone Soak a cotton ball with acetone nail remover and rub it over your nails to remove any acrylic residue that might have left on your nail after your acrylic nail removal.

I advise you to not peel the residue off your nails as tempting as it might be because that will cause further damage.

Please use a hand soap with moisturizer to wash your hands and dry thoroughly after with paper towel or hand towel.

Rub moisturizer on your entire hands for about one to two minutes, not forgetting your palms and fingers.

Take your time and gently cut cuticles at home. You can push your cuticles back a little if you are not comfortable trimming cuticles at home.

Cut the vitamin E capsule and squeeze the liquid from the capsule onto your cuticles and fingernails. The vitamin E will help to fill all the deep slices the Acrylic nail caused.

Rub the vitamin E oil/substance onto your cuticles and fingernails for about one to two minutes.

I sometimes do this part – it all depends on how much I can tolerate the irritating feeling I have/get while buffing my nails.

Buff your vitamin E oily fingernails until they are smooth or almost smooth. Your nails will have a shine to them afterward as the oil acts as a protective layer.

Buff or file all of your fingernail tips in the same direction because it will prevent your nails from becoming weaker.

Massage oil into your fingernails every day. You can rub any oil. I use olive oil, baby oil and I sometimes use the vitamin E gel capsules.

How to get healthy fingernails after removing acrylic fake nails? Trim your fingernails regularly to keep your nails on the shorter side because lengthier nails may result in easier splitting, chipping or tearing. Cut nails regularly to Keep your nails short until they are strong.

Do not apply nail polish to your fingernails for at least one week. Your nails will heal faster without nail polish because nail polish tends to make nails weaker. Not all nail polish makes your nails weaker, but it is best to stay away from nail polish if you want to be on the safer side. Some chemicals in nail polish will weaken your nails.

Sources: wikihow, instyle, unconventionalremedies, fabhow

~~ Please share our post with everyone ~~

How to get healthy fingernails after removing acrylic fake nails can be a nightmare for most of us because it is time-consuming to repair damaged fingernails!!!
